What this Policy covers
This Policy applies to trials and paid subscriptions for the digital information service supplied by Valorem Bets through Whop. It should be read with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and End User Licence Agreement.
Cancellation and refund are different. Cancelling turns off a future renewal. A refund reverses all or part of a payment already taken. Your mandatory consumer rights always apply.
Valorem Bets is a digital service. No physical goods are supplied, so there is nothing to post back or return. References to a return policy on Whop or at checkout mean this cancellation and refund policy.
Seven-day trial and subscription plans
The current monthly offer is £0 for seven consecutive days, then £49.99 per month. A payment method is required. Unless you cancel before the exact trial-end time shown in your Whop account, the monthly subscription starts and renews automatically each month until cancelled.
Annual membership is offered separately at £499.99 per year and renews every 12 months until cancelled. An annual plan includes a trial only when that trial is expressly shown at checkout. The checkout page and order confirmation control the exact plan, currency, tax, trial timing, first charge and personal renewal date for your order.
If the checkout total or renewal terms do not match the offer you intended to purchase, do not submit the order. Contact admin@valorembets.com before completing checkout.
How to cancel a future renewal
You can turn off automatic renewal through your Whop account:
Profile → Orders → Valorem Bets → Cancel membership
You can also send a clear cancellation request to admin@valorembets.com. Include the account email or Whop order number so the membership can be located. A clear request sent before the renewal deadline is on time even if it is processed afterwards. Keep the cancellation confirmation.
There is no cancellation fee. Cancellation normally leaves access active until the end of the trial or paid billing period and prevents the next charge. It does not by itself refund the current billing period.
UK online cancellation right
A UK consumer who enters this contract online normally has 14 days, beginning the day after the contract is made, to cancel without giving a reason. The seven-day free trial forms part of that period; it does not replace or restart it.
If you expressly request immediate access, Valorem Bets begins supplying the service during the cancellation period. If you then cancel within that period, we may deduct only a fair proportion for paid services already supplied where the legal conditions for doing so have been met. Free-trial days are valued at £0. Any separate loss of a cancellation right for supplied digital content applies only where you gave the express consent and acknowledgement required by law.
A refund due under this statutory right will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. No fee is charged for that refund.
Access problems or a service not as described
Contact us promptly if paid access is not provided, a material feature expressly included in your plan is unavailable, or the service is materially not as described. Give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where suitable, restore access, repeat performance, correct the issue or extend access.
UK consumer law requires services to be performed with reasonable care and skill and in line with binding information supplied about them. If a problem cannot be corrected within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to an appropriate price reduction, up to a full refund where the law provides.
A losing selection, changing odds, a bookmaker restriction or a different race outcome does not by itself mean the Valorem Bets information service is faulty. We do not guarantee that any alert will win or make a profit.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that services will be supplied with due care and skill, be reasonably fit for a disclosed purpose and be supplied within a reasonable time where no time is agreed.
For a major failure, an Australian consumer may cancel the affected service and receive a refund for the unused portion or keep the contract and seek compensation for the reduction in value. For a problem that is not major, we are normally entitled to a reasonable opportunity to fix it. Nothing in this Policy restricts those or any other non-excludable rights.
United States and other countries
Consumer, automatic-renewal and refund laws vary by state and country. Any cooling-off period or remedy that mandatorily applies where you live is preserved. Nothing in this Policy requires you to waive a right that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights concerning unauthorised or incorrectly processed payments.
Where local law gives you greater protection than this Policy, the local rule applies to that extent. Where no mandatory refund right applies, requests are assessed under the criteria below.
When a refund may be provided
A full or proportionate refund may be provided where:
- A mandatory cancellation or consumer remedy applies;
- A duplicate or incorrect Valorem Bets charge is confirmed;
- Paid access was not supplied and could not be restored promptly;
- The paid service was materially not as described and an applicable remedy requires it;
- Valorem Bets permanently ends a prepaid service for reasons not caused by you; or
- We make a discretionary exception after reviewing the circumstances.
A discretionary refund in one case does not create an obligation to make the same decision in another. It does not affect any legal right you already have.
What is not normally refundable
Subject always to mandatory rights, we do not normally refund because:
- You changed your mind outside an applicable cancellation period;
- You forgot to cancel before a clearly disclosed renewal date;
- You did not use some or all of an available paid membership;
- A selection lost, placed differently than expected or did not produce a profit;
- Available odds moved below the alert price or a bookmaker refused or restricted a bet;
- You lost access through credentials, settings or conduct within your control and declined reasonable help; or
- Alert volume varied because of race schedules or qualifying opportunities, where no minimum volume was promised.
This is not an “all sales final” policy. Every request that raises a possible legal right, payment error or service failure will be considered on its facts.
How to request a refund
You can submit a request through Whop:
Profile → Orders → Valorem Bets → Billing history → relevant payment → Request refund
If that option is unavailable, use Whop's Resolution Center or email admin@valorembets.com. Interface labels may change. Include your name, account email, Whop order or receipt number, charge date, amount, reason for the request and any useful screenshot. Do not send full payment-card details.
Whop handles checkout and payment infrastructure. Valorem Bets remains responsible for decisions about its service, subject to Whop's payment, fraud and dispute processes and applicable law. You retain any right to contact your payment provider or a regulator.
Review and decision
We will acknowledge a complete request and review it fairly. We may ask for proportionate information needed to confirm the order, understand the issue or prevent fraud. We will explain the outcome and, where relevant, the remedy or refund amount.
Statutory deadlines take priority. For other requests, we aim to communicate a decision within five business days after receiving the information reasonably needed. A complex payment or platform investigation may take longer, in which case we will provide an update.
How approved refunds are paid
Approved refunds are normally sent through Whop to the original payment method and in the original transaction currency. Whop states that an approved refund typically reaches the original payment method within three to five business days, although the card issuer, bank, payment method or country may take longer.
We do not charge a refund fee. A proportionate refund may be used where only part of a prepaid service is affected or has been supplied. Tax treatment and exchange rate effects are handled under the payment provider's process and applicable law.
Changes and contact
We may update this Policy for future purchases when the service, checkout process or law changes. The version accepted for your order continues to govern that order unless a change is required by law or benefits you. Material changes will not be applied retrospectively to remove an accrued right.
