Who we are
These Terms form a contract between you and Valorem Bets(“we”, “us” or “our”). Our support address is admin@valorembets.com.
Valorem Bets is the supplier and licensor of the information service. Whop provides checkout, payment-processing and membership-access infrastructure and may appear on your payment statement. Whop is not the supplier or licensor of Valorem Bets content. Whop's separate terms also apply when you use its platform.
Valorem Bets is not a bookmaker. We do not accept or hold stakes or winnings, access bookmaker accounts, place bets, negotiate bets or settle bets.
When your contract starts
By submitting an order, you offer to purchase the service on these Terms. The contract starts when Valorem Bets or the checkout provider confirms that your trial or membership is active.
Your durable order confirmation should identify:
- Your selected plan and price;
- The date and time your trial starts and ends;
- The first payment date and renewal frequency;
- How to cancel; and
- A link or copy of the Terms accepted at checkout.
Please retain the confirmation for your records.
Eligibility and account security
You may use the service only if:
- You are at least 18 and of legal gambling age where you live;
- You can legally enter a binding contract;
- The service and any betting you choose to undertake are lawful where you are;
- You provide accurate account and payment information; and
- You are not using the service in breach of a self-exclusion arrangement.
A membership is personal to one adult. Keep your membership, Discord and email accounts secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Do not subscribe if you are trying to stop gambling or if gambling is causing financial, personal or emotional harm. UK support is available from GamCareand the Gambling Commission's support directory.
What the service includes
Depending on the plan shown at checkout, the service may include:
- Pre-off horse-racing and greyhound-racing alerts;
- Available odds, minimum acceptable odds and suggested unit sizes;
- Win-only and each-way information;
- Methodology and educational material;
- Discord member channels; and
- A settled-results record or dashboard maintained by Valorem Bets.
Race schedules and qualifying opportunities vary. We do not promise a minimum number of alerts unless one is expressly stated at checkout. We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill and substantially as described. Alerts may be corrected or withdrawn before an event, with material corrections identified where reasonably possible.
Betting information and risk
Selections, odds, stakes, statistics and methodology are general information, not personalised financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We do not assess your income, savings, debts, gambling history, risk tolerance or personal circumstances.
If you decide to bet:
- You make the decision independently and choose the bookmaker and stake;
- Your bet is a separate contract with that bookmaker;
- You must check the runner, event, market, odds, stake and terms before confirming;
- Odds may move immediately after an alert;
- A bookmaker may restrict, refuse, void or settle a bet under its rules; and
- You can lose all money staked.
No alert, strike rate, closing-line-value figure, return-on-investment figure or historical result guarantees a future outcome or profit. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
How to read performance information
Performance information must be read with its stated:
- Timeframe, settled-alert count and total stake;
- Odds and settlement basis;
- Unit methodology;
- Treatment of wins, places, losses, voids and dead heats; and
- Market, coverage or geographical limitations.
A unit is an accounting convention, not a fixed cash return. Closing-line value compares an alert price with a later reference price; positive CLV does not mean a selection will win.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Valorem Bets' dashboard and Discord timestamps are maintained by Valorem Bets, not independently proofed. We describe the record as published pre-off and recorded/settled, not as independently verified.
Free trial, price and automatic renewal
Payment method required. The free trial lasts seven consecutive days from activation. Unless you cancel before the exact end time shown in your membership account, it converts to the plan selected at checkout and renews automatically until cancelled.
- Monthly: £49.99 charged monthly in advance.
- Annual: £499.99 charged every 12 months in advance and offered separately.
The monthly plan has no paid minimum period beyond the current paid month. The annual plan covers a 12-month period paid in advance. The checkout will show the final currency, tax-inclusive total and any separately imposed platform charge before you place the order. If it does not match the offer you intended to buy, do not complete checkout and contact us.
We may change a future renewal price only after clear advance notice explaining the new price, when it applies and how to cancel before it takes effect.
Cancelling automatic renewal
You can turn off automatic renewal at any time through your membership account:
Profile → Orders → Valorem Bets membership → Cancel membership
You may also send a clear cancellation request to admin@valorembets.com. Include the account email or order number so we can locate the membership. A clear request sent before the renewal deadline is on time even if processed later.
Cancellation stops future renewals. You will normally keep access until the end of the trial or paid billing period. It does not automatically reverse a payment already taken. We or the checkout provider will confirm cancellation in writing.
UK 14-day cancellation right
A UK consumer purchasing online normally has 14 days beginning the day after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. The seven-day trial forms part of that period; it does not replace or shorten it.
If you request immediate access at checkout, you ask us to begin providing the service during the cancellation period. If you cancel within that period, we may retain or charge only a fair proportion of the paid service already supplied, where the law permits. No subscription fee is attributed to free-trial days.
Any balance legally due will be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise. You may cancel through your membership account, email or any other clear statement. These rights arise under current UK consumer law and do not assume that the future DMCC subscription-contract regime is already in force.
Refunds and mandatory consumer remedies
Cancelling does not normally refund a billing period already begun, except where statutory cancellation rights, mandatory consumer remedies, an express checkout promise or an applicable payment-dispute decision requires otherwise. This is not an “all sales final” policy.
UK services must be supplied with reasonable care and skill and as described. Where the service does not conform, consumer law may provide repeat performance, a price reduction, refund or another remedy.
Australian services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded in the UK, Australia, the United States or elsewhere.
Personal access and intellectual property
Valorem Bets and its licensors own the branding, alerts, dashboard, methodology, copy, graphics, data presentation and educational material. During an active membership, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service. Our End-User Licence Agreementcontains the complete licence and acceptable-use rules.
You must not:
- Share login or membership access;
- Repost, resell, relay or redistribute alerts;
- Scrape or systematically extract dashboard data;
- Remove ownership notices;
- Misrepresent or selectively alter Valorem Bets results; or
- Use the service to build a competing product.
Reasonable screenshots or records for your own personal use are permitted.
Checkout, Discord and other independent services
Whop (our current checkout and payment provider), Discord, Meta/Instagram and bookmakers are independent services with their own terms and privacy notices. Valorem Bets remains the supplier and licensor of Valorem Bets content and is not responsible for an independent bookmaker's odds, settlement rules, account restrictions or decisions.
We remain responsible for our own legal obligations and for taking reasonable care in providing Valorem Bets. If a material checkout-provider or Discord outage prevents access for an extended period, we will use reasonable efforts to provide an alternative, extension or proportionate remedy where appropriate.
Any paid bookmaker relationship, affiliate link or commission will be disclosed clearly beside the relevant link.
Availability and service changes
Maintenance, abandoned races, provider problems, internet outages and events outside our reasonable control can affect timing or availability. We may make proportionate changes for security, law, platform compatibility, error correction or genuine service improvement, but will not use this right to reduce the service retrospectively.
For a material adverse change, we will give reasonable advance notice and permit cancellation before it applies. Where appropriate, we will refund the unused portion of a prepaid term.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breach, payment failure, fraud, unlawful conduct, access sharing, resale, threats, security risk or a legal or platform requirement. Unless urgent action is reasonably necessary, we will explain the issue and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct it.
We will not retain prepaid money as a punishment. If we permanently end the service for reasons not caused by you, we will refund the unused proportion of the prepaid period where required or appropriate.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss caused solely by an independent betting decision, race result, changing odds, bookmaker action, incorrect information entered by you or an event outside our reasonable control that we could not reasonably prevent.
The service is supplied for personal use, so we are not responsible for business losses such as lost business revenue or opportunity.
Nothing excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, deliberate misconduct or mandatory consumer rights.
Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. We may send essential messages about trial timing, billing, renewal, cancellation, security, service delivery and changes to these Terms. These are service messages.
Marketing is separate and can be opted out of without stopping essential account messages. Promotional social-media direct messages are sent only where requested, consented to or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
The version accepted when you subscribe applies to the current billing period. We may update the Terms for legal, security or operational reasons. Material changes will be explained in advance and normally apply from the next renewal.
A change will not remove rights already accrued or operate retrospectively unless required by law.
Complaints and disputes
Send a complaint to admin@valorembets.com, including your account email, order number where available, what happened and the outcome you seek. We will investigate fairly and respond without undue delay.
Payment-platform issues may also be raised with the checkout provider. Valorem Bets remains responsible for complaints about its information service. We will identify any applicable alternative dispute resolution scheme without claiming membership unless true. Your right to bring court proceedings is unaffected.
Governing law and international consumers
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you retain mandatory consumer protections provided by the law of your country, state or territory.
You may bring proceedings in any court made available by applicable consumer and jurisdiction law, including courts in your home jurisdiction where applicable. This clause does not create exclusive England-and-Wales jurisdiction.
If part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remainder continues. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You cannot transfer your membership. We may transfer the contract in a genuine business sale or restructuring only where doing so does not reduce your rights and after appropriate notice.
